Why The Stars Are Challenging Your Sanity

June is the cosmic cluster that Waze didn’t warn you about!

If you’ve been feeling like- “What the heck else could happen in 2020?!”- the answer is: Quite a lot…

Here’s why June feels so astrologically epic: 6 planets are stuck retrograde (the most we’ve ever simultaneously seen), 2 eclipses firecracker the skies, the warrior planet stations in a blood-shedding position through year’s end, and a major collision that only occurs once every 13 years comes to pass.

  • Pluto Retrograde evaluates who controls your power- government, media, family, lovers- why you have been so complicit in giving your power away, and how it can be regained: 4/25-10/4.

  • Saturn Retrograde revamps shaky foundations—especially linked to money or owned assets- which ultimately makes you wiser with long-term planning and gives you time to strengthen your material support system: 5/10-9/29.

  • Jupiter Retrograde encourages you to downsize expenses, luxuries, and cluttering possessions and to re-invest in professional skills: 5/14-9/12.

  • Venus Retrograde confronts relationship issues and asks you to address what you really want from others and if you are holding up your end of the deal: 5/13-6/25.

  • Mercury Retrograde renegotiates agreements, examines contracts, refines strategies, and catalyzes critical conversations around truthfulness
    and plans: 6/17-7/12.

  • Neptune Retrograde questions your coping mechanisms- like fantasy, avoidance, procrastination, denial, or distraction- and replaces victimization with a guru regimen of brutal honesty about yourself and others: 6/22-11/28.

  • Eclipses spark change in your belief systems about what you thought you needed for emotional and financial security: 6/5 and 6/20.

  • Mars in Aries pushes you to take charge of yourself and become a social advocate who stands up for what you feel is right. Passion, action, and willpower lead the charge. Avoid, however, being angry, pushy, or a bully: 6/27-January 2021.

  • Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction unites the principles of power and expansion propelling you to take a risk- or risk falling behind. This alignment happens only 1-in-13 years. You’re well-positioned to make big moves that have been lingering since April and which complete their fulfillment in November: 4/4, 6/30, and 11/12.

This month renders us startstruck and suspended, with the spread from June 17th-30th being the most potent turning point all year.

Here’s what that pivotal timeframe will mean nationally and personally-

Nationally:

A public relations problem shadows our country’s image as national and presidential popularity ratings drop. We’ll experience social outrage and explore our relationship with “otherness”, challenging and changing how we treat those who are different from us as we seek justice for incidents experienced in May.

False hope also lingers in the air as business re-openings and a slight economic uptick fools us into thinking normalcy is on the horizon. In reality, however, the virus is on its way back (peaking September-November) and the economy will drop further before a potential V-Curve recovery. When this is all done, 2020 will be recorded as the largest transfer of wealth in history and the existence of ‘middle class’ may be totally redefined.

National debt will increase as we begin assessing the total cost of responding to the global pandemic and, while there may be a second stimulus check issued later this summer, the burning question remains- how are we really paying for this? The previously rescheduled tax deadline is also approaching, but payment may still be difficult as unemployment rates continue to hike. Financial matters continue into mid-July.

Violence and virus spreading sneaks in somewhat undetected during this period of false hope with business re-openings and economic boost. But in the background, anger about our country’s situation and health concerns builds over the summer before hitting its second wave in the fall. Keep an ear out for murmurs regarding another lockdown- potentially military enforced. Civil unrest, riots, and law enforcement issues continue growing.

An important announcement regarding the virus, economy, or future rules of our nation may be declared between the last two days of June through
Independence Day
.

The day-by-day breakdown for the star spread from June 17th-30th:

June 17th-July 12th

6/17-7/12 MERCURY RETROGRADE. Just when you thought the summer couldn’t get any more complex Mercury enters the cosmic sandstorm of 6 simultaneous retrogrades this month alongside 2 eclipses. June skies are ‘the perfect storm’ and now Mercury sends things into a tailspin for the next three weeks. Individuals may feel stressed, confused, or overly sensitive. This will especially affect those with cardinal planets in Cancer or Capricorn most directly and Libra and Aries indirectly. We may feel shocked at how friends or family are behaving in response to the global health situation or national issues, and we may feel concerned about the future our country. Everyone should prepare ahead for delays or unexpected inconveniences from 6/17-7/12.

This is a highly volatile and unfavorable three-week period for the US. The full extent of damages done by 2020 world events could be forthcoming and a recovery plan is going to take longer than expected. It could also signal that America is going to take another hit. Celebrations for our nation’s birthday will occur during the retrograde; let’s hope something negative does not occur around the holiday. Mercury Retrograde could also bring troubled waters for President Trump and First Lady Melania, or his popularity rating may dip further.

June 20th

6/20 CATALYST OR CATACLYSM? Today marks the Summer Solstice, or longest day of the year, alongside a Solar Eclipse which acts either as a catalyst or cataclysm. If the current Mercury Retrograde has brought you to the psychological edge thinking “well what the heck else could be next”, then this eclipse offers the chance to confront underling fears so greater security can be reached. Sometimes the only way to feel safe is to dive head-first into deep waters to see what’s really under there.  A situation may arise that feels like a crisis, but in reality can be a beautiful turning point to assuage anxieties that have been brewing this summer (and perhaps even rekindle some hopes you originally had around Dec 2019/Jan 2020).

Collectively we feel like something’s got to change. People are deciding that “enough is enough” and are seeking a breakthrough amid a tough year. Mounting tensions around health, economy, politics, and social issues initially divided some folks, but at this point could bring everyone together
in that we’re just ‘done’- the nation wants something new, hopeful, and inspiring to look forward to. This would be a good time collectively to write
our legislators with specific demands about how we the people want our land to be ruled in the future.

June 22nd-November 28th

6/22-11/28 IGNORANCE ISN’T BLISS. Adding to the astrological epic-ness of June, a sixth planet- Neptune- joins the retrograde revue marking the heaviest point this year as the greatest number of planets is simultaneously reverse. Neptune Retrograde signals a lack of clarity about your future, doubtfulness, or procrastination. When the planet first turns, it can make you feel sleepy, dreamy, spacey, or preferring to coast. After its initial onset, however, you’ll be required to pierce through deceptions, address avoidant tendencies, and deconstruct fantasies about yourself and others. You must some to terms with who you are, what you’re made of, and what you’re willing to do to carry yourself forward. But it may take you through the Thanksgiving holiday to really pick a direction and get in gear.

Neptune’s presence breeds national uncertainty about our future as America until election month (we won’t know what we’re doing until the final hour!), and also signals the resurgence of the virus from June-November (peaking in September, October and November). Neptune can instigate storms and unusual weather patterns.

June 25th

6/25 APHRODITE STOPS BEING AN A$%. If your love life has been off-course since May, it may soon get back on track as the Venus Retrograde cycle finally concludes its five-week march over your heart. Many have experienced breakups, unpredictable reunions, or start-stop romances and wondering when Aphrodite is going to stop acting like a wench. Romantic options could now bloom again, a separation could smooth over, romance stuck at the yellow light finally sees green, or you could decide about a prospect who appeared on the cue since last month. Financially things improve a bit too, especially if you’ve been waiting for money or to sign a deal. Matters of the heart and wallet begin resolving the last week of June and are fully realigned by the final three days of July.

After this date our country will work to improve its public image in the wake of challenging social events that arose May-June, and presidential candidates will
scurry to rekindle popularity ratings. The people will be ready to resolve and move on from summertime social scandals. This also ends our period of false hope generated by business re-openings and economic uptick as after June we will soon see the return of civil restrictions, business closures, financial trouble, and the virus.

June 27th- January 2021

6/27-Jan ‘21 THE ART OF WAR. Mars, the warrior planet, moves into its natural sign- Aries- for the rest of the year. It is unusual for the planet to spend six months in one location (typically it spends just over one month in any given spot), which means you’ll have to work through one specific issue for quite awhile before a breakthrough occurs. Aries Mars inspires passion, action, determination, and sheer willpower- it’s in a “muscle and might” mood. However, it can also make you feel angry, pushy, frustrated or like a bulldozer. Personally, you’ll take action on goals and stand up for what you believe in. Relationally, you’ll explore sexual chemistry and healthy ways to fight with others.

Universally this will cue the rise of the second wave of the virus over the next six months. Adding stress to an already butchered year, people will become
increasingly angry about the situation; watch out for violence and civil disobedience that may be met with an increased role of military or law enforcement. Pay particular attention to the children and younger generation who may rise up, advocating a different future for themselves.

June 30th

6/30 LUCKY THIRTEEN. It only happens once every thirteen years, so make it count! Jupiter and Pluto align to expand your power base, meaning its time to close a big deal, cut a cord or confirm an alliance, debut a project, or make a move. What are you manifesting? Check for promising signs, people, or ideas that first originated in April as a clue to what could be growing now. You’ll get one last chance to complete the lucky strike in November so keep building momentum now.

The Jupiter-Pluto alignment might herald an important announcement from leadership about the virus, economy, or national rules. This is a step along the way, but we won’t know how it all shakes out until election month.
